Luoyuan town belongs to Luonan County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of Luonan County, bordering Baoan town in the East, Shangzhou District in the south, Lantian County in Xi'an City in the West and Huazhou District in Weinan City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 17.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13 kilometers, with a total area of 141.57 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Luoyuan town has one community and nine administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 16500 people registered residence. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Luoyuan town reached 50 million yuan.

Historical evolution

In 1949, Luoyuan town was established.
