Wuxiang town
Wuxiang town belongs to Hantai District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north of Hantai District, 13 kilometers away from the urban area in the south, connected with Hanwang town in the East, Xuwang town in the southeast, Laojun town in the south, Zongying town in the southwest and West, hedongdian town in the northwest, and Laozhuang town in Chenggu County in the North. It covers an area of 96.7 square kilometers.
In Wuxiang Town, there is a National Forest Park, Tiantai Mountain National Forest Park, the ruins of the first branch of the Central Army Military Academy (formerly known as Huangpu Military Academy), Chiang Kai Shek air raid shelter, and the "Shuangping village" historical site of the youth army training ground.

Historical evolution
It was named after the legend that Zhuge Liang was the vassal of the Three Kingdoms.
In the Northern Wei Dynasty and Tang Dynasty, Wuxiang County (later renamed Baiyun county) was in charge for more than 100 years.
In 1933, it was the seat of the Soviet government in Nanzheng, Chenggu and Baoji border areas.
After liberation, Wuxiang was established.
In 1950, Wuxiang district was established.
In 1958, Wuxiang commune was established.
In 1961, Wuxiang district was restored.
In 1966, it was renamed Hongwu district.
In 1969, Wuxiang district was restored.
In 1984, it was changed to Wuxiang.
In 1990, Wuxiang district was changed to include seven townships: Wuxiang, Laojun, XUJIAPO, Hanwang, Baimiao, Jinzhai and Zhaozhuang.
In October 1992, nine villages in Wuxiang Township, Jinzhai Township, Baimiao Township and XUJIAPO Township under the jurisdiction of Wuxiang district were merged and changed into Wuxiang township.
