Mangding Township

Mangding Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Jinghe County, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Jinghe County, adjacent to Tuotuo Township in the East, nilek County in the south, bajiahu farm in the West and Tuoli County in Tacheng area in the north. The administrative area is 2376 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 21508 households in manding Township had registered residence.

During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was Jinghe Tuntian district after the suppression of the Junggar rebellion, which was roughly the first district of Jinghe county.
