Luofu town

Luofu town belongs to Huayin City, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of Huayin City, adjacent to Huashan Town in the East, Qinling Mountains in the South and Jindui town in Huaxian County, Liuzhi town in Huaxian County in the West and Huaxi town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 13.6 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 21.9 km, with a total area of 231.72 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

Because the Luofu river runs through the whole territory, it was called Fushui. Later, because the town government is located on the Bank of the Luofu River, it was renamed Luofu.

In the 11th year of Taihe (487), Fuxi county and Zhicheng county were set up here, which lasted for 122 years.

In the Tang Dynasty, there was a water post.

Song Dynasty changed to fule town.

In 1961, when the organizational system of Huayin county was restored, it was renamed Fushui commune.

In 1984, it was changed into Fushui town.

In 2011, Huayin changed its name to Luofu town during the reform of township institutions.
