Hekou town
For more than half a century, Hekou Town, as the dividing point of the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, has been written into textbooks and many geography books, and is very famous.
Hekou Town, now known as Hekou village, is the dividing point of the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, located in Tuoketuo County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In October 1938, toketo Japanese puppet county government was established, which changed 119 townships of four towns (including Hekou town) under the five districts of the county into ten townships of one town (toketo town), and Hekou town became Hekou village. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, there were some small changes in the administrative division of Tuo County, but Hekou is still a village, and it is still used today. The name "Hekou town" has been used as the dividing point of the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River in middle school geography textbooks.
