South command Town, belonging to Fengxiang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the south of Fengxiang District, bordering Guodian town in the East, Zhouyuan town in Chencang District in the south, Liulin town in the West and Chengguan town in the north. The total area is 70 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, the town has 12 administrative villages. As of 2018, the South command town has 37830 registered residence population. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture, industry and social goods reached 190 million yuan, 540 million yuan and 34.35 million yuan respectively.

Historical evolution

Tang had three armies stationed here, which was named after the commander of the Southern Army stationed here.

During the reign of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty, the South command village was under the jurisdiction of hongyuanli.

In 1938, the southern commander belonged to Xunlei township (the commander stationed in the South had jurisdiction over Liubao).

In March 1956, it set up the South command township (in the South command Village), with jurisdiction over 16 villages.

In September 1958, Hongguang commune was established.

In 1961, it was renamed the South command commune, with 17 production teams and 180 production teams under its jurisdiction.

In March 1983 (the pilot project), it was set up as South command Township, which has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages and 180 villager groups.
