Dazhao Street

Dazhao street, belonging to Chang'an District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Chang'an District, on Shaoling plateau. The origin of place names

Because empress Xu's Mausoleum of Emperor Xuan of Han Dynasty is located here, the tomb area was called "Zhaoyu" in ancient times. This area is the largest, so it is called Dazhao. At the same time, the word "Zhao" has the meaning of auspicious omen.

History of construction

In the Ming Dynasty, the local administrative system at the township level was established, which was called "Shaoling township". The local government also set up "dazhaopu division" in Dazhao village.
