Sajean

Zada County in Ali Prefecture of Tibet governs the township and two administrative villages, namely, sarrang village and RIBA village.

It is located in the west of Zada County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, bordering India in the West and south.

It is 170 kilometers away from the county seat of Zada. Because it is located at the source of Henghe River in the western part of Himalayas, the roads in Panshan are extremely dangerous.

In April 1961, the District of sajean was established. In 1996, it has a population of about 0700 and governs two townships. Among them, sarrang Township governs three administrative villages: sarrang, dangba and Baiga, and RIBA Township governs three administrative villages: RIBA, quse and GABRE. In 1999, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and the sajean township was established. In 2000, there were 785 permanent residents (Wupu). On March 28, 2015, Sarang Township celebrated Tibet's "3.28" million Serf Liberation Day. The activities included a national flag raising ceremony, a gala performance of township cadres and masses, and a friendly competition.

Exemplary deeds

On February 6, 2013, Sarang township of Zada County suddenly encountered heavy snowfall. Two herdsmen and more than 350 livestock in RIBA village were trapped in the pasture by heavy snow. Zhaxi Gabu, leader of Gabu Re Group in RIBA village, immediately organized the villagers to dig snow for rescue after knowing the danger. On the way to the rescue, it snowed harder and harder. Some women and old people returned one after another because of lack of strength. Party members, cadres and young and middle-aged militia continued to advance. On the way, the team was suddenly hit by an avalanche. Seven rescue team members were engulfed by snow, including zaxigabu, dawaciren, cirendorji, ojertiren, losandoji, danzengqusan and Nimazaxi. Nimazaxi was seriously injured and survived after treatment. The other six team members were killed.

Honorary title

On February 17, 2013, Zhada county Party committee and government awarded the honorary titles of "disaster relief hero" and "snow martyr" to zhaxigabu and others in RIBA village, Sarang township. in April 2014, zaxigabu, dawaxiren, cirendorji, ojertiren, luosangduoji, danzengqusang and Nimazaxi groups in RIBA village, sarrang Township were awarded the 12th National heroic model candidates.

After that, it was very easy to break, and the color was mainly golden. At the bottom of the sagang gorge, we can also find ancient marine fossils, such as algae, coelenterates and Phalaenopsis. It is a relic of the ancient Himalayan sea. In the village of sajean, and the mountains are changing, ten steps a scene, the scenery is very novel. Occasionally, there are scattered yellow wolves, Qingyang and Tibetan snow chickens. Local people say there are also wild yaks, snow leopards and lynx. This is the youngest piece of land on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.
