Dabaideng town is an important town in Yanggao County, with a total land area of 109.05 square kilometers. Historical evolution

Dabaideng village, where the town is located, is 20 kilometers away from the county seat, with a long history and outstanding people. In Liao Dynasty, Changqing County was changed into Baideng County in 1167. Before liberation, soil erosion was serious here. After liberation, the people of the whole town managed mountains and rivers, and made great efforts to change the natural environment. They summed up the eight character experience of "digging pits (fish scale pits), opening canals, cultivating ridges, and building dams", which was popularized throughout the country. On November 1, 1955, Chairman Mao personally wrote the note of "look, Daquan mountain has changed", which made Dabaideng town an advanced model of soil and water conservation in China.
