Zaren town

Zaren town is located in the north of Tibet, on the north and south sides of the famous Tanggula mountains, and adjacent to Zhiduo County, Zaduo county and nierong County of Qinghai Province in the East.

Anduo County governs the town. It is located in the south of the county, adjacent to Pana town and Cuoma Township in the north, nierong County in the East and Naqu County in the south. The resident population is 9561 (2017). It has jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee and nine administrative villages. The town government and the town Party committee are stationed in nase neighborhood committee. Qinghai Tibet railway and 109 National Highway pass through the territory.

In 2000, there were 2074 permanent residents in Guozu township (Wupu), 2344 permanent residents in Jiaao township (Wupu), and 2592 permanent residents in nase township (Wupu). In 2002, Guozu Township, Jiaao Township and nase Township were abolished and zaren town was established. In, zaren town governed 12 administrative villages, namely, nasegongwa, Debu, mailong, zaishong, cuogouluoma, Regao, reta, nimalong, chaguogong, Ouchi, Guojia and ramso. Anduo County governs the township. It governs 12 village committees: nasegongwa village, Debu village, mailong village, zaishong village, cuogouluoma village, Regao village, reta village, nimalong village, chaguogong village, Ouchi village, Guojia village and ramcuo village.

geographical environment

It borders Naqu County in the south, bange county and Shuanghu Special Administrative Region in the west, and Golmud City in Qinghai Province in the north. There are ultrabasic intrusions nearby, Yanshanian granite intrusions in the south of Tanggula Mountain and the south of Anduo. Taking the Sichuan Tibet highway as the boundary, the eastern part is the alpine shrub meadow zone, which belongs to the upper reaches of Nujiang River; the western part is the alpine meadow zone, which belongs to the upper reaches of zajiazangbu and sangqu basin. Taking the main vein of Tanggula Mountain as the ridge, numerous peaks and small peaks rise and fall continuously from west to East. There are Tanggula Mountain, Kekexili mountain and zuerkenwula mountain in the north, Torr volcano in the middle and sangka mountain in the south. It is high in the middle, low in the South and high in the west, and low in the East. From 6600 meters of the main vein of Tanggula Mountain in the middle to more than 4700 meters in dianbei and more than 4500 meters in Tangnan It's like a roof. it belongs to pure animal husbandry Township, where yak, goat and sheep are raised.
