Longer Township

It is formally written as "longgar township".

Longer, with an average altitude of more than 5400 meters, has rolling mountains. There are no flowers, no grass, and no trees. There are dry, fierce sandstorms and scorching sun. The most vivid description of longer's environment is that "the wind blows the stone and there is no grass on the ground". Brown mountain, barren, thick, majestic, fierce, proud of the sky, a handful of Tibetan dwellings scattered in the mountains.

it is formally written as "longgar township". Zhongba County governs the township. Longgar township was built in 1961. Located in the north of the county, more than 600 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 6686.74 square kilometers and has a population of 3671 (2017). It has jurisdiction over eight village committees, namely, Jiaojiao, Zhiru, Xiaji, najue, Jigong, daruo, longga and Xiongru. It mainly grazes yak, sheep and goat. There are many wild animals such as Tibetan antelope, yellow cattle, rock sheep, fox, wolf, spotted goose and wild yak.
