Zhaotang town

Zhaotang township is located in the southwest of Wanyuan City, Dazhou City, 56 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Changba in the East, Heibaoshan forest farm in the West and Shiren in the north. The township covers an area of 72.58 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 1192 meters. It governs four administrative villages, 27 villager groups and 4023 people (2017). There are 6 grassroots party branches and 127 party members in the township. The township has 5897 mu of arable land, including 2490 mu of farmland and 3407 mu of land. In 2007, the GDP of the whole township was 1.85 million yuan, and the per capita GDP was 2.871 yuan. In 2008, the GDP of the whole township was 1.934 million yuan, and the per capita GDP was 3.076 yuan.

On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Zhaotang town.
