Jinga Township

Jiangzi County governs the township. In February 1987, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, the original Heping Township, Jinxing Township and Jiefang Township, gangpu, Jiuwu and Chongyu, were merged into jinga township. Located in the southwest of the county, 40 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 369.28 square kilometers and has a population of 2859 (2017). There are two country roads. It has jurisdiction over nine village committees, namely lare, Rava, Jiaobai, gaxi, LAKANG, Chongyu, gangpu, Jiuwu and Qiucan. It is a semi farming and semi pastoral Township, planting highland barley, peas, rape, etc., and Grazing Yak, cattle, sheep, etc. There are national handicraft industries. The scenic spots include jinga hot spring and chazhu cave, where the surrounding people often bathe and worship Buddha.

Jinga karst cave is located in jinga Township, Jiangzi county. Its appearance is like a pile of sharp weapons, the whole form is like a Tara sitting in silence. The cave is about 8 meters wide, nearly 2 meters high, and more than 40 meters deep. From top to bottom, there are six self-cultivation caves, such as master lianhuasheng and nanmulang dojidui, as well as more than 80 natural pictures, such as Milarepa, sixteen Arhats, elephants, scorpions, dragons, snakes, moon and sun. According to legend, gaxi village was once a lake. The forest is luxuriant and there are many beasts on the mountain, so human beings can't survive. In order to carry forward the Dharma and liberate all living beings, master lianhuasheng (eighth century) used his sword to cut mountains and seas, cut demons and exorcise evil spirits, thus forming the present topography. Therefore, the natural footprints of master lianhuasheng, Dharma protector Danzeng, Mandala, iron wall, Ganzhuer and danzhuer scriptures are left on the surrounding mountains of the cave.

The appearance of jinga cave is like a pile of sharp weapons stacked together, the whole shape is like a Tara sitting in silence, and the cave is like a chicken tail. The entrance of jinga cave is about 8m wide and 2m high. Its space can hold 108 monks chanting. The depth of the cave is about 48 meters. From top to bottom, there are six practice caves, including master lianhuasheng and nanmulang dojidui. There are also more than 80 natural forms of mirarepa, sixteen Arhats, elephants, scorpions, dragons, snakes, the moon and the sun. Guided by the goat, through 21 steps, with the help of the rope in the beak of Mirs, through the sentencing cave, across the long and short passage, you can drink the blessed water of master lianhuasheng, Vajrayana Bodhisattva and the longevity wine of wuliangshou Buddha. In the hall of lianhuasheng, there are the natural stone boots of lianhuasheng and the footprints of Kongxing mother Kangzhu yixicuojia when she was 8 years old. Jinga cave, deep and dangerous, is full of adventure. There are magical legends and mysterious colors here, and there are an endless stream of pilgrims from all over the world.
