Gandan Quguo town (sometimes referred to as "Ganqu town") is a town under the jurisdiction of Linzhou County, Lhasa city. The people's Government of the county is located in the central and southern part of the county. In 1960, it belonged to Pengbo farm of Dazi county. In 1988, the farm was merged into Linzhou county and set up Gandan Quguo township. In 1999, Gandan Quguo Township and Zhujia Township merged to form Gandan Quguo town. It has jurisdiction over 6 village committees and 37 natural villages. The town government is located in Quguo village, Gandan.

The pre selected address of Lhasa Linzhou airport, which is planned to start construction during the 13th Five Year Plan period, is in Ganqu town.

Ganqu town is only 18 km away from Lhasa city. It is planned to build a tunnel to connect Ganqu town and duodi township of Chengguan District through gamula (Kamula).

Quguo town of Gandan has a population of 12873 (2017), all of whom are Tibetans. The economy is dominated by agriculture, supplemented by animal husbandry, with a cultivated area of 27640 mu, producing highland barley, wheat, rape, etc. There are primary schools and clinics. There is a small hydropower station. It is the end of Lhasa Linzhou highway and the starting point of Linzhou Tanggu highway. Gandanquguo town has six village committees: gandanqu village, Zhujia village, juebu village, Jiangjiao village, Langtang village and Jurong village.
