Ma Township is located in the northwest of the region, covering an area of 400 square kilometers, with a population of 4500 and access to highways. It has jurisdiction over six village committees, namely, Longba, Macun, Gangji, sexing, zhuomu and cuomai. Mainly in agriculture, planting highland barley, peas, potatoes.

On November 21, 2019, it was selected into the list of the third batch of national "anti pornography and anti illegal" grassroots demonstration sites.

Introduction to the countryside

Ma Township, duilongdeqing District, Lhasa city is a township under the jurisdiction of duilongdeqing county. Ma Township was established in 1962, the commune was changed in 1970, the township was restored in 1984, and the district was withdrawn in 1987 to merge cuomai Township, Ma Township and Gangcha Township into Ma Township.
