It also has the meaning of entertainment and wishing grain harvest and six animals prosperity. Yi festivals mainly include Torch Festival, mountain sacrifice and fire sacrifice. June is the season when rice blooms and all kinds of crops need to mature. It is also the most dangerous time when all kinds of pests harm crops. Therefore, to ensure a good harvest is the source of the festival. the festivals, wedding customs and funerals of the Yi people in Shitouzhai are slightly different from those in other places. October year begins with the first dragon day in October of the lunar calendar. In the evening of that day, every family has to kill a chicken, burn a fire outside the door and set up a bamboo table for dinner. In Hani Language, it is called "hachangpi", which means to sacrifice the deceased relatives. "King Pan Festival" is the most grand festival of Yao compatriots. It is a festival dedicated to the destructive gourd and the happy harvest of the first ancestor pan of Yao people. It is held every year after autumn. On October 16 of every year, every family makes rice dumplings, slaughters chickens and pigs. Men and women, old and young, change into festive costumes, clean the village houses, sing and dance, and celebrate "King Pan's Day". "Dujie" is an adult ceremony of the Yao nationality, which is a traditional teaching instrument handed down by the ancestors to educate the descendants on the history, rules, etiquette and morality. The rules and precepts accepted in Dujie restrict a person's behavior in his life. Therefore, Yao compatriots believe that if you do not do it, you will not be the descendants of abacus king. There are many festivals of mosohani nationality, such as "Zaza" and "ranhafu". "Ranhapu" Festival is held on October 1 of the lunar calendar.
