Lingjingdian Township
Lingjingdian township (commonly known as donglingjing) is located in the east of Yangqu County, Shanxi Province, adjacent to donghuangshui town in the west, Yangxing Township in the north, Yu County in Yangquan City in the East, Shouyang County in Jinzhong City in the south, 314 Provincial Road (s314), Beijing Kunming Expressway (G5) and Shijiazhuang Taiyuan high-speed railway, 27 km away from the county (Huangzhai town), with convenient transportation. The total area of the township is 183.01 square kilometers, with 13 administrative villages and 42 natural villages, 8350 permanent residents (in 2017), and 56973 mu of arable land.
Historical evolution
In the early days of Yining (618), Emperor Gong of Sui Dynasty, Fucheng county was set up in the area of lingjingdian. Fucheng county belongs to Taiyuan county. In the third year of Wude in Tang Dynasty (620 A.D.), wupang River, where Fucheng County lived, was named, and Fucheng county was changed to Wuhe County. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), Li Shimin merged the prefecture and county into the province, and Wuhe County was merged into Yu county (now Yu County), which belongs to Taiyuan County, Taiyuan Prefecture of Hedong road. Yuxian County annals said: the old city of Wuhe is located in Lingjing village, 50 kilometers west of Yuxian County, also known as Fucheng. It should be lingjingdian Township in Yangqu County, Shanxi Province. In February 1945, dongyangqu County Anti Japanese Democratic County Office was changed into dongyangqu County Anti Japanese democratic government, which was stationed in lingjingdian village, lingjingdian Township, Yuxian County, under the second special office of Shanxi Chahar Hebei border area. In August of the same year, the government of Shanxi Province returned to Taiyuan, and the Yangqu county government of the Republic of China was still stationed in Huanghua hall. In September, the system of Yuyang (Qu) county was abolished, and the original area under the jurisdiction of Yuyang (Qu) county was under the jurisdiction of dongyangqu county. The county government successively stationed in lingjingdian and other villages, under the second special office of Jijin district. By the end of 1952, 26 villages including lingjingdian village, Nanshe village, Hecun village, Nanzhuang Village, dongguoqiu village, xiguoqiu village, dafangshan village, xiaofangshan village, donghanhu village, donghuanglongtou village and xihuanglongtou village were under the jurisdiction of Yangqu County, belonging to Xinxian administrative office. In 1958, they were under the jurisdiction of Taiyuan City along with Yangqu county. Since then, there has been no change in the ownership of the township. Lingjingdian people's commune was established in 1959, and lingjingdian township was changed in 1984.
Basic information
Lingjingdian township is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with an average altitude of more than 1200 meters. Daweinao is the highest point in the township, with an altitude of 1715.7 meters. Wuhe River, one of the eight major rivers in Yangqu County, belongs to Haihe River system. It originates from the foot of Liangling mountain, runs through the whole Township from west to East in YAOGOU, and flows into Hutuo River in Yuxian County. the annual average temperature is 6.5 ℃, the average annual precipitation is 510 mm, the frost free period is 120 days, the final frost period is in the middle of May, the first frost period is in the middle of September, the frost free period is short, the climate is cool, suitable for planting corn, millet, minor cereals, potato, beans, oil, vegetables, etc . In 1996, the total grain output reached 12107 tons and the oil production reached 297 tons. Township enterprises have refractory tile factory, lime field, Golden Triangle brand small coarse cereals company. In 1996, there were one junior middle school, 33 primary schools, 145 teachers and 1821 students in the township. There are 1 Township Health Center, 16 village health centers, 28 medical staff and 1 veterinary station.
