Mengsa farm, located in mengsa Town, Gengma County, Yunnan Province, adjacent to the border between China and Myanmar, was established in May 1955. It has 7333 hectares of rubber, 800 tons of dry rubber, 353 tea gardens and more than 3 tons of tea, with an output value of 40500 yuan per hectare. After 10 years of struggle, the farm has realized "one big change in three years", with a total population of 5086 and 2416 employees.

There are 3 hectares, producing 1200 tons of Maocha, and producing dry tea per hectare. Zhang Chengguo, deputy director of the farm, has made a leap forward development of "reaching a new level" in the year. Sales revenue and staff income doubled in the 10th Five Year Plan period compared with the 8th Five Year Plan period. The farm has developed into a new frontier town. The production of "Luoling" brand series of steamed enzyme (green) tea and red broken (strip) Pu'er tea is of good quality and short supply. It has been rated as provincial famous tea and enjoys export inspection exemption. It has been awarded the National Certificate of honor of stable product quality and qualified service satisfaction unit by China Consumer Protection Foundation.
