Boshang Town, 22 kilometers south of Lincang City, is the city's aviation window Town, tobacco production base and edible oil base. Characteristic village

Founded in 1414, the first Feng family to settle down was in the early Ming Dynasty. Originally, it was divided into damengzhun village and fanghunnan village. Later, due to the construction of Lincang airport, fanghunnan village moved down and merged into damengzhun village. Mengzhun Buddhist temple is a historic site. It was built in 1386, the 31th year of Hongwu, Emperor Taizu of Ming Dynasty. There are three major festivals of the Dai people in mengzhun: the Dai People's Spring Festival, the closing day and the lighting Festival.

Boshang town is located at the source of Nanting River, the southward extension of Nushan mountain range and the south of longitudinal valley of Hengduan Mountain range. Due to the strong land uplift movement and the cutting effect of water erosion, the whole town is high in the South and low in the north, high in the West and low in the East. The whole terrain is long and narrow, with medium cutting middle mountain and wide valley, which is composed of boshangba mengtuocaozi. The altitude ranges from 1600 m to 2100 M. The town is surrounded by high mountains on all sides, with Xiaoguang mountain in the Northeast striking north-south, with an altitude of 2.483 meters; Daliang Mountain in the East, with an altitude of 2.664 meters; mengbohou mountain in the west, with an altitude of 2.792 meters. Most of the territory is slope shaped, half mountain and half dam. The highest peak is the South Gaoqing Shipai slope of Huyou village, with an altitude of 2835 meters. The lowest point is the confluence of Boshang River and Mengtuo River into XIGA village of Fengxiang, with an altitude of 1650 meters.

The surface layer of the town is mostly thick granite red weathering crust. Boshang dam was originally a slope apron. In Dayu of Boshang village, incomplete bedding can be seen, which is inclined along the slope direction. Under the erosion of flowing water, it forms a broad valley or hilly terrain with relative elevation difference of 70-150m, gentle top of the hill and roughly equal absolute height. The geology of Boshang town belongs to the uplift belt of Lancangjiang ancient platform, which is composed of huge granite batholith extending from north to south. As a result of intense denudation and uplift, the plutonic granite has been exposed to the ground and formed the Hengduan Mountains in the whole town. The deep red weathering crust is distributed in most areas of the town. There are pre Ordovician metamorphic rocks, mainly sericite phyllite and metamorphic sandstone in the uplift margin area. There are shale and mudstone outcrops in Wanzhao, Wandeng, GONGMAO, manglong, mengtuodazhai and mangxian areas. There are abundant aged soils and siliceous batholiths in the area, which are the products of Indosinian, Yanshanian and Himalayan volcanic magmatic evolution.

Mountain water system

The Hengduan Mountain range in Boshang town is the southern extension of Nushan mountain range. In the north, it enters from malukeng, bingye mountain, Zhangtuo township. The top of the mountain is the boundary between Zhangtuo Township and Fengxiang town. It lies on the East Bank of Mengtuo River from north to south. Local people call it "Qianshan", which meanders to the east of Huyou village, Mengtuo village, Wanhai village and Wanyao village, and ends at the boundary between XIGA natural village and Wanyao village in Shifang village of Fengxiang Town, about 30 km.

The other branch of Zhugan mountain range originates from the North shiyanqing boundary of South America Township in the northwest. The top of the mountain is bounded by South America Township and Mengku town of Shuangjiang County. The north-south direction is Huyou village, Wanxian village, Mengtuo village, Wanhai village, Wanyao village, Mubu village, mengzhun village and Yongquan village. To the watershed at the junction of Bahu and Yongquan. The local people call it "Houshan". In the East is the big bright mountain, with steep mountains and dense forests. After Yonghe, Wenxun mountain rises, and then it turns down to meet Potou news. There are many peaks on the three mountains, deep and uneven.
