Ciyuan Hui nationality township

Ciyuan Hui Township is one of the newly built townships after the reform of district and township system in 1988. It is located in the north east of Ludian County, the southwest of Zhaotong municipal government, and the junction of Zhaoyang District and Ludian County. It is adjacent to Yongfeng town and sujiayuan town in Zhaoyang District, and Taoyuan Town, Wenping town and Xiaozhai town in Ludian County. It is one of the only three villages in Ludian.

The township is 15.7 km from east to west and 12.2 km from north to south, covering an area of 42.51 square kilometers.
