Fenglu street is located in the north central part of Chengjiang city. Its geographical coordinates are 102 ° 55 ′ E and 24 ° 40 ′ n. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the city. Wufeng mountain in the north, Fuxian Lake in the south, yousuo town in the East and Longjie town in the West. It covers an area of 8.8 square kilometers and has a population of 21400 (2006). It has jurisdiction over four communities: Yifeng, Yonghui, Chengbo and Lanxiu. The town government is located in Lifu street, 52 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was the residence of government and county. After the revolution of 1911, Fenglu town was renamed the first district of Chengjiang County. It has jurisdiction over four villages, namely, Tigu, Liangwang, Jiucun and Qijiang. In 1945, during the period of "constitutionalism" of the government of the Republic of China, the township system was changed to Baojia system, also known as Fenglu town. Rendong Town, Rennan Town, Renxi Town, renbei town. After liberation, it was renamed Chengguan District, the first district, Chengguan commune and Chengguan administrative district. In 1983, the original name of Fenglu town was restored, belonging to Chengjiang County. In 1996, it has a total area of 8.8 square kilometers, a total number of 5480 households and a total population of 15695. It has jurisdiction over Dongmen office, Nanmen office, Ximen office and Beimen office. By the end of 2002, it had an area of 8.8 square kilometers, a population of 21232 people, and a population density of 2413 people per square kilometer, including 933 ethnic minorities, 14931 non-agricultural population, and 6301 agricultural population. It has jurisdiction over four communities of Yonghui, Chengbo, Lanxiu, and Yifeng, 35 resident groups, and two mountain cooperatives of non Datian and ertaipo. The town government is located at No. 7, Fengxiang Road South. In 2011, Fenglu town was abolished and Fenglu street was established.
