Xiping Street

Xiping street is under the jurisdiction of Zhanyi District, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It was established in October 2013.

Evolution of organizational system

On May 6, 1997, the State Council approved (guohan No. 32): (1) Qujing district and county level Qujing City were abolished, and prefecture level Qujing City was established. The Municipal People's government was stationed in Wenchang street, Chengguan Town, Qilin District. (2) Qilin District and Zhanyi County were set up in Qujing City. Qilin District governs four towns of Qujing City, namely Chengguan, Sanbao, Yuezhou and Dongshan, and six townships of Huancheng, Zhujie, Yanjiang, Ciying, Xiaoxiang and Xishan. The District People's government is located in Nanning East Road, Chengguan town. Zhanyi County governs two towns of Xiping and Huashan in Qujing City and eight townships of Zhanyi, Panjiang, Baishui, Dapo, Lingjiao, Deze, Yanfang and bole. The county people's government is located in Longhua new road, Xiping town. According to the fifth census in 2000, Zhanyi County has a total permanent population of 389838, including 41091 in Xiping town. In 2005, Xiping town and Zhanyi Township were abolished, and Xiping town was merged and established. The town government was stationed in the former Zhanyi township government. The county government is located in Longhua new road, Xiping town. according to the sixth census in 2010, Zhanyi County has a total resident population of 431058, including 124670 in Xiping town. on October 20, 2013, the provincial government (yunzhengfu No. 77) approved the abolition of Xiping town and the establishment of Xiping street, Longhua street and Jinlong street in Zhanyi County. in March 2016, the reply of the State Council on Approving the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Qujing City in Yunnan Province (Guo Han [2016] No. 54): it is agreed to cancel Zhanyi County and establish Zhanyi District of Qujing City, with the former administrative region of Zhanyi County as the administrative region of Zhanyi District, and the people's Government of Zhanyi district is located at 78 Longhua East Road, Xiping town. Population nationality

In 2003, the non-agricultural population accounted for 11.59% of the total population. There are 19 ethnic minorities, including Yi, Hui, Miao, Bai and Zhuang, accounting for 5.6% of the total population.
