Lianhua Street

Lianhua Street area is located in the west of the north of Wuhua District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It starts from Panlong River and Panlong District across the river in the East, reaches Hongshan Road in the west, connects Fengning and Puji streets of Wuhua District along Yangxian City, connects Huashan and Longxiang streets of Kunshi railway in the south, and connects Hongyun street with hetaoqing in the north. It covers an area of 14.9 square kilometers and has a population of 136461 (2010). It governs 12 communities. The office is located at 43 Zhengjiao Road, beijiaochang. Founded in 1987.

Historical evolution

In 1997, it covers an area of 3.4 square kilometers and has a population of 39000. It administers nine residential committees, namely, the upper section of Jiaochang Middle Road, the lower section of Jiaochang Middle Road, Jiaochang North Road, Sujia, tanglian, Huachi, Jiaochang East Road, kungong, Minyuan and Minyuan road. In 2004, it was integrated into a new Lianhua street. Lianhua street is 3000 meters long and the railway is 2.7 kilometers long. The main traffic sections are 905 meters of Jianshe Road, 2385.3 meters of Xuefu Road, 2209.5 meters of Longquan Road, 3800 meters of North 2nd Ring Road, and 13 secondary trunk roads including Zhengjiao Road, Lianhuachi Main Street, Jiaobei Road, Jiaodong Road, Hongshan Road, yangxianpo Road, Panjiang West Road, Yingjiang Road, Meijiang road and Lijiang road.
