Yashui town belongs to Huishui County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, and is located in the middle of Huishui County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province.

Yashui town covers an area of 121.9 square kilometers. The population is 34800, of which Buyi, Miao and other ethnic groups account for 77.7%. It has jurisdiction over 17 village committees. In 1930, Yashui town and bojiao, Botan, Yangsi and other townships were established. In 1941, Yashui township was established. In 1953, Yashui, puling, Luoping and Taiyang were established.
