Gujiao town of Longli county is located in the middle of Guizhou Province, adjacent to Guiyang City in the west, Longshan Town in the south, Guanshan sub district office in the East, Xingshi town and Xima town in the north. It is 17 kilometers away from Longli county and 16 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital. It has a transportation network of railway, highway and airport. There are 5 administrative villages, 5 neighborhood committees, 178 villager groups, with a permanent population of 10033 households and 31923 people. There are many ethnic groups such as Han, Buyi and Miao. The population of ethnic minorities is 9130, accounting for 28.6% of the total population.
