Yahui township is located in the southeast of Danzhai county. It covers an area of 87 square kilometers. Among them, Miao, Shui, Yi and other nationalities account for 70.5%. It has jurisdiction over 12 village committees.

Wenming town was established in 1932, belonging to Dujiang county. In 1942, Yahui township was changed to Sandu county. In 1952, it was assigned to Danzhai county. In 1953, Yahui and Pailu townships were established. In 1959, the township was withdrawn and merged into Paidiao commune. Yahui commune was established in 1961 and Pailu commune was added in 1963. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1992, it merged into Yahui township. It produces tung oil seed, Litsea cubeba, Galla chinensis, Lentinus edodes, Auricularia auricula, chestnut, etc. There's antimony. Fish farming in paddy field is an important sideline. There are 16 primary schools. Township People's government resident Yahui, 27 kilometers southeast of Longquan Town, wengbang Dapo and Yahui Houshan Anbu. Population 420, Miao, Han and other nationalities. The altitude is 960 meters. "Ya Hui" is a Miao transliteration, meaning Ladybug dish. There is a simple highway connecting Danzhai Paidiao highway.
