Xiang RI de

From Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province, to the west, along the Qinghai Tibet highway, there is a small town called "Xiang RI de". Xiangride is located in Dulan County of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the middle of Qinghai Province.

history

In the Republic of China, it became Ma Bufang's grain base, and then it became today's plateau oasis due to continuous immigration and development.

Agriculture

Xiangride is the "green command". Six or seven hundred shelterbelts, more than 25000 mu of forest, more than 1700 mu of nursery and tens of millions of trees have made the forest coverage rate of nearly 300 square kilometers reach 15%. Some people have calculated that if the distance between the trees of Xiangri De is one meter, the trees can be planted from Xiangri De to Lanzhou through Qinghai Lake, over Riyue mountain and Xining. The great green wall is like emerald wax. People regard Kunlun Mountain as a magnificent mountain and the flying sand salt bridge in the ancient Han sea as unique in the world, which can be called one of the wonders of Qaidam.

Xiangride is "Qaidam granary". As early as the 1970s, Xiangride set the national record of spring wheat yield for three times in a row, and recorded the chaidazhu oasis agriculture in the history of world agriculture. Now it has a large area with a per capita yield of 4000 Jin, and 80% of the 10000 Jin grain households in Qinghai Province are here. In the courtyard of the village, the grapes are whirling, and the fruit grains are strung together. On the edge of the field, the fruit trees become forests, and the fruits are numerous, and the taste is sweet.

No matter grain, vegetables and fruits are of high and stable yield here. A radish weighs 20 jin, and a garlic weighs one jin. The saying that "garlic is like a fist, beans are like garlic, and a Chinese cabbage earns 20000 yuan per mu" is not a fable. Xiangride is the only "100 stars of Chinese villages and towns" in Qinghai Province.
