Dadi Shui Nationality Village
Dadi Shui township is located in the southeast of Leishan County, at the junction of two prefectures, four counties and six townships. It is one of the 17 ethnic townships in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, and the only ethnic township in Leishan county. It has a total area of 106.8 square kilometers and a population of 12129.

Dadi Shui nationality township is located in the southeast of Leishan County, at the junction of two prefectures, four counties and six townships, namely Tashi Yao Shui nationality township and Sanjiang Shui nationality township of Rongjiang County in the East, Dujiang town of Sandu Shui Nationality Autonomous County of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the south, Yahui township of Danzhai County in the west, Yongle Town of Leishan County in the north, 86 km away from the county. The township has a total area of 106.8 square kilometers, 7487 mu of arable land, 65.4% of forest coverage, and an average altitude of 825 meters.

The township governs 10 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 97 villager groups and 135 natural villages. There are 2743 households and 12129 people in the township. There are mainly Shui, Miao, Han, Yao, Dong and other ethnic groups, among which there are more than 4600 Shui people, accounting for 38.3% of the total population of the township.
Historical evolution
In 1992, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Dadi Shui nationality township was established (Dadi township was founded in 1913), which is one of the 15 nationality townships in Leishan county.

Dadi Shui nationality township is rich in natural ecological resources. There are tea, taro and other natural green products and rare medicinal materials such as gallnut, the existing tea garden area of 16500 mu. Dadi is rich in natural grassland resources and has unique conditions for the development of animal husbandry. Dadi's beef and mutton are delicious, and its special snack, roasted beef, enjoys a certain popularity in the county and even the prefecture; the ecological chicken raising in woodland has begun to take shape, and local eggs have begun to form a popular market. Dadi is located in a special location and natural resources advantages, agricultural products trading is particularly active, the number of people to go to the market can reach more than 15000, and has become an important agricultural products trading market in the southeast of Leishan.

Dadi Shui Nationality Village has rich and colorful festivals. There are many festivals, such as the year of melon, Spring Festival, gongmi'a Zhaolong Festival, April 8, Dragon Boat Festival, July and half, Mid Autumn Festival and Double Ninth Festival. The year of melon in September of the lunar calendar is the most solemn festival in the local area. Warm and hospitable Shui compatriots prepare roast fish, steamed pumpkin, Chongyang wine and glutinous rice to welcome guests from afar.

Dadi has a profound history and national culture. There are the legendary historical trenches of King Yu and King Tang, the ruins of Daping mountain, the temple of three kings with a long history and the stele of abolishing husband's service in the anti Qing Dynasty.
