Yatang street, belonging to Kaili City, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the south of Kaili City, adjacent to Kaihuai street in the East, Zhouxi town in the south, Majiang County in the west, Wanchao Town, Chengxi street and Dashizi street in the north, with a total area of 48.8 square kilometers.

In the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Xuanwei Department of Bozhou; in July 2010, Yatang town was transformed into a street. At the end of 2018, the total population of Yatang street was 33501. History of construction

In Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Xuanwei Department of Bozhou.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Qingping county.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to the Second District of Lushan County.

In 1932, wengdi, wengya and Silian were established.

In 1936, the Baojia system was implemented, belonging to Kaili united insurance.

In 1941, Lianbao was changed into a township. Today, Yatang and Zhongba villages are the seventh in Kaili Town, Gaoquan, Ma'an, Silian and wengdi belong to the seventh and eighth in Zhouxi Township, wengyi, Qingxin and Hongyan belong to Baiwu township of Majiang County, and Sanjiang belongs to the fifth in Wanchao township.

In 1953, two townships, Yatang and wengya, were set up.

In 1962, two communes, Yatang and wengya, were established.

In 1966, wengya commune was incorporated into Yatang commune.

In January 1984, wengyi, Qingxin and Yanzhai (Hongyan) production teams (villages) of Baiwu commune in Majiang county were assigned to Yatang commune; in the same year, Yatang commune was changed to township.

In January 1992, Yatang Town, wengdi village of Zhouxi town and Sanjiang village of Wanchao town were assigned to Yatang town.

In July 2010, Yatang town was transformed into a street.

Qingshui River, the main river in Yatang street, enters the area from Xiasi town of Majiang County, flows eastward from the northern edge into Chengxi street, and passes through Sanjiang, Hongyan, Yatang, Zhongba and other administrative villages.
