Angwu town is a town under the jurisdiction of Wangmo County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. The total land area is 232.3 square kilometers, and the total population of the town is 11686. After village level integration, there are 24 groups of 7 villages and 29 natural villages in the town. There are three nationalities, Buyi, Han and Miao, living in Angwu town. According to the statistics at the end of 2008, the permanent population of the town is 9791, including 8381 Buyi, accounting for 85.6%, 1152 Miao, accounting for 11.76% and 258 Han, accounting for 2.64%. On June 11, 2015, Angwu township of Wangmo county was officially removed from the township and built into a town.
