Bichen town is located in the southwest of Qinglong County, 28 kilometers away from the county. It borders Jichang town and Dachang Town in the East, Dachang Town in the south, Shasha town in the north and Pu'an County in the West. Bichen township was set up under the jurisdiction of the Fifth District, and the district office was stationed in Bichen camp. in 1941, the administrative division was adjusted and Bichen township was under the jurisdiction of the third district. On April 2, 1950, the people's Government of Qinglong County was established, and then the administrative division was adjusted to 3 districts, 1 town and 10 townships, and Bichen township was subordinate to the first district. In 1958, Bichen management area was set up. In 1963, Bichen people's commune was set up. In 1984, the title of people's commune was abolished and Bichen township was restored, still under the jurisdiction of Bichen district. In 1991, the district was withdrawn and the township was built into a town. Qingkou Township and Bichen Township were merged to build Bichen town. The people's Government of the town was stationed in Bichen camp.

The martyrs' cemetery in Bichen town was just liberated in 1950. Bandits were very popular in the area. On March 20, gang leaders Zhang Mingcai and Tang Shunfu gathered about 1200 remnant bandits of the defeated independent division of the southwest field army to attack Bichen from all sides. A platoon soldier from the 1st Battalion of the 145th regiment of the 49th division of the people's Liberation Army stationed in Bichen, together with the militia of a squadron, immediately responded. At about 4 p.m., Cheng Jinman, the instructor of the 1st Battalion, who was meeting in Pu'an, learned that Bichen was besieged by bandits. With the consent of Wang Jiadao, the commander of the 49th division and commander of Xingren army, he led a reconnaissance platoon to help Bichen from Pu'an. At 6 o'clock, he arrived at Bichen and immediately launched a counterattack. More than 30 bandits were annihilated. The bandits did not support him and fled in panic. He won the battle of Bichen. On June 7, Li Dianbang, the head of the people's Government of Bichen Township, Jiao Wenxin, a public security assistant (PLA soldier), and Yu Guoqing, a correspondent (from Liancheng), led more than 30 militia members to collect food in Dijiu area. They passed through Shujia village in Qingkou, but were ambushed by more than 100 bandits. Li Dianbang, Jiao Wenxin and Yu Guoqing were seriously injured and captured for covering the retreat of other comrades in arms. The bandits tortured the three men, but they would rather die than surrender, and they were killed after being tortured cruelly by the bandits. Li Dianbang, Jiao Wenxin and Yu Guoqing were buried in the county martyrs cemetery. The heroic deeds of the three people have been praised among the masses. In the south corner of the town, there is a martyr cemetery, where some martyrs who died in the fight against bandits in the south of the county are buried.

Xianrenqiao scenic spot

Located at the end of the trench on the west side of erwangping, the stream on the rock erodes all the year round, forming a huge stone dome, which is about 30 meters long and 35 meters wide. The lower space is about 4 meters high and open to the trench.
