Yina town
Yina Town, subordinate to Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Zhijin County, adjacent to Chadian Buyi, Miao and Yi Township in the East, Banqiao Town in the south, Zhongzhai town in the West and Jinlong Buyi Township in the north, with an administrative area of 84.3 square kilometers.
In the Yuan Dynasty, it was the Chief Secretary of Gaoqiao and the residence of Gelao people, so it was named Yila family. In January 1992, it was withdrawn from the district and built into Yina town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in that town was 47382. As of June 2020, Yina town has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 8 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Yina community.
In 2018, there were four industrial enterprises in Yina Town, including one above scale and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Yuan Dynasty, it was the Chief Secretary of Gaoqiao and the residence of Gelao people, so it was named Yila family.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to longgezexi, which was one of the nine bottoms and eighteen gaes under the jurisdiction of the Yi people. In Yi language, it was called "yinaga", which means deep water in the mountains and flat land. Later, it was changed to yinaga.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dading Prefecture.
In 1905, it was assigned to Pingyuan Prefecture.
In the early Republic of China, it belonged to the northern district.
In 1932, Fuxing town was established, belonging to ten districts.
In 1944, Fuxing town was established.
In January 1950, it was the Sixth District.
In February 1952, it was the ninth district.
In May 1955, it was named Najia town.
In September 1958, the commune was established.
In February 1984, it was changed to that district.
In January 1992, the district was withdrawn and Yina town was built.

History and culture
Yina town got its name from yenajia, one of the eighteen GA in jiudi, which was managed by Yi people in history.
According to the literature, Yina was originally under the jurisdiction of the local ancient Yi people, and it came from yenajia, one of the nine bottom eighteen GA under its jurisdiction. It is also said that this place was originally the site of the local Gelao people's La family. The place name is called Yila family, which came from the "Yila family" through historical changes.
In Yina Town, there are ancient tombs of fangjiafen, ancient battlefield ruins of guolongdi in Shuixi, Eight Temples such as Longevity Palace and Dafo temple, and historical relics such as sculptures, pagodas, archways and arch bridges (there are Chuanzu temple, Sanguan temple, Longwang temple and Heishi Temple).
