natural resources
There are abundant coal, pyrite, kaolin and other mineral resources in the territory, especially "zhaping coal", which is famous for its high combustion value, low sulfur and low ash. In the six years since 1998, more than 12 million yuan has been introduced, eight 30000 ton coal mines have been built, and three 90000 ton coal mines are in the process of application and approval. The transportation of the township is cheap. National Highway 326 runs across the whole territory, reaching Guiyang and Zunyi in the East, Bijie and Shuicheng in the west, and Dana road in the north to Sichuan. The highway network with surrounding towns has been formed.
mineral resources
Fengshan Township is rich in coal resources, there are 11 coal mines, is high-quality anthracite.
Under normal temperature and atmospheric pressure, coal changes from plant remains accumulated in stagnant water body to peat or sapropel through mud carbonization or sapropel; after peat or sapropel is buried, it sinks to the deep underground due to the decline of basin basement and turns into lignite through diagenesis; when temperature and pressure gradually increase, it turns into bituminous coal to anthracite through metamorphism. Peatization refers to the process in which the remains of higher plants accumulate in swamps and change into peat through biochemical changes. Sapropelization refers to the process in which the remains of lower organisms are transformed into sapropel through biochemical changes in swamps. Sapropel is a kind of muddy material rich in water and asphaltene. Glacial processes may contribute to the collection and preservation of coal forming plant remains.
Pyrite is also known as pyrite, pyrrhotite and ilmenite. Its molecular formula is FeS2 and its molecular weight is 120. The most common crystals of pyrite are hexahedron, octahedron and pentahedron dodecahedron. There are fine stripes on the surface of hexagonal crystal. Sometimes many crystals combine to form various polycrystals. Sometimes it is golden yellow, sometimes it is brass, and has a bright yellow metallic luster. The specific gravity is 4.95-5.20. The hardness is 6.0-6.5. The streaks are green and black. It is brittle and easy to be broken when it is knocked. The broken surface is uneven. When burning, it has blue flame and pungent sulfur odor.
infrastructure
Through the unremitting efforts of all previous Party committees and governments, the township has achieved the goal of connecting every village with roads, electricity, radio and television, and wireless communication signals, and has realized the optical cable transmission, and 85% of the villagers have used tap water. The small town construction of Fengshan street, the political, economic and cultural center of the township, has begun to take shape, and the adjustment of rural industrial structure has formed a pattern. In terms of culture and education, one junior high school and four public primary schools have been built, with an enrollment rate of 99%. The social economy has made great progress, and the infrastructure is gradually improving.
