There are 6 villager groups under the jurisdiction of the village, with 1361 people from 324 households (including 32 people from 10 ethnic minority households), 705 labor force (including 405 men and 300 women) and 320 migrant workers. At present, the area of cultivated land is 764 mu, the area of paddy field is 50 mu, the area is 6.8 square kilometers, the area of returning farmland to forest is 950 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 61.8%. The terrain of the village is in a cascade shape, with an altitude of 1200-1600 meters, an average annual temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius and a frost free period of 290 days. The village is close to putunba Yunzhong grassland, which can develop rural eco-tourism.

At present, there are 35 party members in the village, including 3 over 60 years old, 6 between 50 and 60 years old, 6 between 40 and 50 years old, 11 between 30 and 40 years old, and 9 under 30 years old; 5 with college education or above, 26 with junior high school education, and 4 with primary school education or below; and 4 village cadres. Now the village has a party member activity room of 200 square meters. Putunba alpine grassland scenic spot is located in Houchang Township, in the north east of Puding County, 42km away from the urban area. It is a rare alpine grassland in Guizhou mountainous terrain. The highest point of Puding (1850m), with a radius of 6.8km2, has the potential of "vast sky, boundless wild, low wind grass, cattle and sheep". The scenery is different throughout the year. The main sightseeing items are: climbing on foot, camping, outdoor sightseeing, watching xianma Miao folk customs, listening to the unaccompanied multi voice chorus of xianma Miao folk chorus; the main sightseeing landscapes are: the Ming Dynasty "fuyinmingwen" cliff inscriptions, houchong small stone forest, Plateau Characteristic dwellings, Yangjiazhai Valley scenery, xianma Miao village, etc.
