Gaozhai Miao Buyi Township, belonging to Kaiyang County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Guiyang and the southeast of Kaiyang County. The township government is 85 km away from the county, 92 km away from Guiyang, 43 km away from Guikai intercity railway and 54 km away from machangping, the railway hub center of Qiannan Prefecture.
