Yiche Township

Yiche township is located in the southwest of Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 80 kilometers away from the county. The highest altitude is 3708 meters in pumapo, and the lowest is 550 meters in Harbin railway. It covers an area of 50 square kilometers and has a population of 4000. It has jurisdiction over five village committees and 20 villager groups in enalo, tagu, Taching, malhong and wagu.

On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Yiche township.

Yiche is the Yi language "riji". The original name of this place is "liu'er riji". Liu'er is the surname of the Yi people, and riji is a pond. Later, the Yi people collectively called this place riji, which was changed into "Yi Che" and later renamed Yiche. on June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Yiche township.
