Migu township is located in the southwest of Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. 72 kilometers away from the county government. The highest altitude is 3803 meters in baicaopo, and the lowest is 730 meters in wazagou. The township covers an area of 47 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It has jurisdiction over 6 village committees and 32 villager groups, including Migu, Mifeng, Longfeng, Qianjin, Lianhe and Xianfeng. Migu township is located in animi. It used to be called "shamamugu". Shama is Shama chieftain, and Mugu is the center. Shamamugu is the center where shamamu chieftain lived. Migu came from Mu Gu.
On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Migu township.
economic development
The township is located in the mid mountain area of Gaoer County, with abundant water resources and good natural conditions. There are Gastrodia elata, Codonopsis pilosula, Aconitum carmichaeli and other traditional Chinese medicine, and walnut is the main economic forest. In 2007, the town's GDP reached 156.6935 million yuan, an increase of 40.38% over the previous year, including 76.5898 million yuan of agricultural GDP and 158.4178 million yuan of industrial GDP, an increase of 4.5% and 35% respectively over the previous year. The total revenue of Finance and taxation reached 25.22 million yuan, an increase of 67.24%, more than 7.8 million yuan, breaking the 20 million yuan mark for the first time; the local revenue was 10.668 million yuan, an increase of 37%, breaking the 10 million yuan mark for the first time; and the income from state-owned assets was 12.7409 million yuan. The total amount of taxes paid in the town reached 37.9609 million yuan. The investment in social fixed assets was 105.3 million yuan, an increase of 23% over the same period of last year. The retail sales of consumer goods in the whole year reached 26.826 million yuan, an increase of 22% over the previous year; the deposits in the financial system were 176 million yuan, and the balance of loans was 48.4 million yuan, an increase of 2% and 28% respectively over the previous year.

It is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Leibo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the people's Republic of China. The following areas are under the jurisdiction of Migu township: Migu village, pulujiagu village, Mifeng village, waqutuo village, Longfeng village and luoga aze village.
Infrastructure
