Baoan Tibetan township is under the jurisdiction of Yuexi County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the north of Yuexi County, it is located in the mountainous area of Gaoer county. It was built into a nationality township in 1984. It is adjacent to Baiguo Township in the East, Naituo town in the southeast, Banqiao Township in the South and West, and meihua Township in the north. the total area of the township is 34.22 square kilometers, with many mountains, wide forest land and rich grassland resources. At present, the township has 3100 mu of converted farmland to forest and 4080 mu of cultivated land.
