Qietou township is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties (cfgm [2021] No. 1): boluolada township was cancelled, and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Hetuo Township, and the people's Government of tuoxiang was stationed in No. 1, group 1, Hetuo village.

General situation
