Xinpi Township

Xinpi Township, belonging to Yudu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located at the southwest end of Du county. It is connected with Liren village and Jingkeng village of Gongjiang town in the East, Luocun village and Tengqiao village of Xiaoxi town in the south, Xiaoman village of Luojiang town in the west, and mikeng Village of Gongjiang town and Shangxi village of Luojiang town in the north. By the end of 2018, Xinpi township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages (Yiwu, Bantang, Jue village, Gaotian, Miaobei, Zhongzhong, Xinpi, Yipi, tangkeng, qunlian, Guangming), 121 villager groups, covering an area of 36.68 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 19722 (2017).

Xinpi township has the general name of "eight mountains, half water, one field, half road and Manor". The Township People's government is located in xinpiwei, 11.5 kilometers away from the county.

geographical conditions

Xinpi is a typical subtropical monsoon climate with mild climate and abundant rainfall throughout the year. The whole area is surrounded by hills. The terrain in the south, North and East is higher, and gradually decreases to the middle and North, forming a closed long strip-shaped Hilly Basin, which is southwest northeast trend. The lowest elevation in the territory is 113m (lower row of Miaobei Village), and the highest elevation is 240m (Xiang Village of Yipi Village), with a difference of 127m. Except for Yiwu, Jue village, tangkeng, Gaotian and Miaobei, there are a small part of hilly erosion landforms in the whole township. Other landforms are Valley accumulation landforms and low terraces, with gentle and flat terrain, deep and fertile soil layer, and wide suitability for planting.

Infrastructure

With the improvement of infrastructure and the formation of transportation network, Yuxin highway, Lichun Xinpi Luojiang highway, Xinpi Xiaoxi highway and Ruigan expressway are 5 km away from Yudu exit, which will make Xinpi an important "X" type transportation hub in the southwest of Yudu county. 11 villages in the township road construction completed, cement hardening completed.

Xinpi township is known as the hometown of melons and fruits in Yudu county. The peach, Dahong plum and navel orange planted in Yudu county are well-known. As of August 28, 2007, the area of mountain forest suitable for fruit industry growth is about 6000 mu, 4397 Mu is developed and planted, with an annual output of 1.5 million Jin and an annual output value of 2.25 million yuan. It has formed more influential Zhengda horticultural farm, Cunninghamia lanceolata navel orange base and malingdong horticultural farm. Among them, the navel orange planted by Lai Yangdao of Zhengda horticultural farm won the Golden Award of navel orange competition in Gannan navel orange Festival.
