Mishi town is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Mishi town is located in the southeast of the county, 32 kilometers away from the county.

On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2021] No. 1): Yiluo township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Mishi Town, and Mishi Town People's government was stationed at No. 25, group 1, Mishi village.
