Xinjie Township

Xinjie township is connected with Xiyi Township in the southeast, Shidian County in the south, PuYao Township in the West and Hanzhuang Township in the north. It is about 15 kilometers long from north to South and 14 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 118.45 square kilometers. The name of the township is derived from the village in dixinjie. The township governs 15 villages (communities) and 85 natural villages with a permanent population of 56640 (2017).

It has a long cultural history. G320 national highway, hang Rui highway and yunbao line pass through the territory. Donghe River, Xiaosha River, Yuge River, Changshan liwai River and other rivers are distributed vertically and horizontally.
