Sedi township is under the jurisdiction of Zhaojue County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 1958, sedi township was set up in xibuyue Township, in 1972, sedi commune was changed, and sedi township was restored in 1984.
In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish sedi Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Zhuhe Town, which is located at No. 96, Zhuhe street, Niri village.
Sedi township is located in the northeast of Zhaojue County, 30 kilometers away from Zhaojue County. It covers an area of 47.2 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It has jurisdiction over four village committees, namely, amo, uslo, sedi and mamunato.
The main agricultural products in Sedi township are potato and corn. Specialty lacquer.
