In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish layimu Township and assign its administrative region to Qingheng township. The people's Government of Qingheng township is stationed at No. 246, group 1, Qingheng village.

Layimu township is under the jurisdiction of Zhaojue County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 1961, Yimu township was set up in Wupo Township, in 1972, Yimu commune was changed, and Yimu township was restored in 1984.

Layimu township is located in the northeast of the county, 30 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 38.5 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. He (Sichuan) mu (LI) highway transit. It has jurisdiction over five village committees: layimu, mother and son Nawu, wuajue, ashuoluoyu and layichongping.
