Gengbao Township
Gengbao township is under the jurisdiction of Jinyang County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Gengbao township was established in 1956, changed into a commune in 1970, and resumed in 1984.
Gengbao township is located in the southwest of the county, 80 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 42.4 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It has jurisdiction over four village committees, namely labuqi, Daluo, gengbao and yangshanzi.
Gengbao Township mainly produces corn, potato and pepper. Animal husbandry is mainly pig and sheep.
