Liangzi township is located in the southwest of Ningnan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an area of 88.52 square kilometers and a total population of 4174 (2017).

Liangzi township is located in the southwest of Ningnan County, covering an area of 88.52 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Zhushou town in the East, Shili Township in the south, Huidong County and Huili County in the west, and Liangzi village group 3 in the north, with an altitude of 2103 meters. The cultivated area is 5691 mu. At present, there are 47000 mu of state-owned forest and economic forest, 29000 mu of protective forest and 6000 mu of economic forest, with the forest coverage rate of 59.7%. Liangzi township is dominated by Zhongshan landform, with cultivated land between 1700-2400m above sea level. The climate is warm temperate humid zone, with annual average temperature of about 14 ℃ and annual precipitation of more than 1300 mm. It has four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall.
