Wangzhuangzi town

Wang Chuang-tzu Town, a city of Bazhou, Langfang, Hebei, is located in the south of the city of Bazhou, adjacent to Shengfang Town, and south of the county. It is located in the west of the East Zhuang Township, and north is connected with the tea and tea town. The area is 51.46 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population was 37641.

In 1947, it was put under Ba County. In 1949, it belonged to Shengfang Town (county level). In 1965, Wang Zhuangzi commune was set up from Shengfang commune. In 1984, it was changed to wangzhuangzi township. In 2018, towns will be set up instead of townships. As of June 2020, wangzhuangzi town has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 244 industrial enterprises in wangzhuangzi Town, including 11 large-scale enterprises and 41 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, it belonged to Shengfang City, Baxian County, and later it was assigned to Wen'an County with Shengfang.

In 1947, it was put under Ba County.

In 1949, it belonged to Shengfang Town (county level).

In 1954, it belonged to wangzhuangzi, Beilou and jinjiapu townships of Shengfang Town.

In 1958, it belonged to Shengfang commune.

In 1965, Wang Zhuangzi commune was set up from Shengfang commune.

In 1984, it was changed to wangzhuangzi township.

In 2018, towns will be set up instead of townships.

History and culture

Because the Township People's Government in wangzhuangzi village named. Originally named xiawangzhuang, it was built in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566). Because of its low terrain, it was named xiawangzhuang and later popularly known as wangzhuangzi.
