Yimen town

Yimen town is under the jurisdiction of Huili City, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Yiguo township. Yimen township was set up in 1952, the commune was changed in 1958, the township was restored in 1983, and the town was established in 1988.

On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of six counties (cities) including Xichang City (cfzm [2019] No. 18): Baiguo village, Shuanghe village, Longquan Village, Baba village, Qihe village and yuanxia village of the former Baiguowan Township were put under the jurisdiction of Yimen Town, and the people's Government of Yimen town was stationed at No. 1 Yimen street.

Yimen town is located in the northwest of the county, 28 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 85.81 square kilometers and has a population of 7345 (2017). 108 National Highway passes through from north to south, and Yi (Cang) Yi (3) highway meets in China. It has five village committees and one neighborhood committee in Shangcun, Zhongcun, Damo, Xiaoliangshan and Weijiagou.

Yimen town run enterprises are mainly engaged in raw coal production, zinc smelting, repair industry and catering service industry. Agriculture mainly produces rice, corn and potato. The breeding industry is mainly composed of black goats, pigs and cattle. There are Yimen coal mine and Yimen porcelain factory.
