Mairi township is under the jurisdiction of Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Mairi township is located in the northwest edge of Muli County, between 100 ° 27 ′ - 100 ° 46 ′ E and 28 ° 29 ′ - 28 ° 49 ′ n. It borders Tangyang and Dongzi in the East, Shuiluo in the south, donglang in the north and Julong and Mengzi in Daocheng County in the West.
