Xiqiu Township
Xiqiu township is under the jurisdiction of Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Xiqiu township is located in the central and southern part of Muli County, northwest of bowa County, and East Bank of Muli river. Historical evolution

Natural conditions
"Xiqiu" is a transliteration of Chinese. It is called "Heqiu" in Tibetan, which means the place where the sun shines. Xiqiu township is located in the lower reaches of Muli river. Residential areas and cultivated land are distributed in the ER Banshan and low mountain valleys. There are three big rivers in the territory: mihegou, huomawan and ribuzuo, all of which flow into Muli River; Yuanbaoshan (3807 meters above sea level) and ngadiao mountain (3601 meters above sea level) are big peaks in the territory; the rainfall is about 800 mm and the frost free period is about 230 days;

The animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, goats and cattle, followed by horses, mules, sheep, yaks and poultry.
